Born in 1934, Nader is an American politician (Green Party member), author, attorney, but more importantly a political activist. Nader's areas of interest are environmentalism, humanitarianism and consumer protection. Nader has run for President 5 times in his political career (as Independent candidate and Green Party candidate), most notably in 2000 when he undoubtedly influenced the outcome of George W. Bush v. Al Gore, taking away Democratic votes from Gore.
