The value field may contain subvectors.
(3) An array of one dimension.
(4) A linearly ordered collection of scalars of the same type. Each scalar is said to be an element of the vector. (1) In SQL replication, the updated content of a source-table column that is recorded in a change data (CD) table or in a database log or journal. See also before-image.
(2) The contents of a record in a physical file after the data is changed by a write or an update operation.
(3) A record of the contents of a data element after it has been changed. After-images are used for forward recovery.
(4) A business object that contains all of an entity's data after changes have been made to it during an update operation. The viewport has a predefined size and position on the screen and is related to a presentation space through a specified window. See also presentation space.
(3) In BMS, that part of a screen that is allocated to a partition. See also partition.
