(1) A type of relational database schema that is composed of a set of tables comprising a single, central fact table surrounded by dimension tables. In Tivoli Enterprise Data Warehouse, the fact table holds the values of the component's metrics, and the dimension tables hold the values of the attributes of a component or a metric.
