What killed MySpace?
MySpace was once on top of the internet social media world boasting 70 million unique visitors a month and generating $600 million in ads revenue at its peak. In 2005, News Corp. purchased it for $580 million. Everything was going super well for the company. Surprisingly, MySpace has fallen into oblivion fast during the last couple years with its subscriber growth stalling. The company was just sold again for a poultry $35 million. So what happened?
