idioma 'A'
El o los idiomas hacia los cuales un intérprete tiene competencia de interpretar profesionalmente. El término Idioma 'A' es también usado en reuniones para significar los idiomas destino hacia los que se provee la interpretación. Por ejemplo, en una convención donde todas las presentaciones se dan en inglés, y se ofrece interpretación al alemán, español y francés, estos últimos tres serían los idiomas activos, y el inglés sería el idioma pasivo.
